Sorry it has been awhile since I wrote a blog post. I let my inner demon win and thought I wasn’t good enough to write a blog and who will even read it. Guess what, I am enough and some people do read my blog and they like it and the ones that don’t, don’t matter!
Part of my journey of finding a new me is sharing my journey and my story with others.
One of my newest obsessions from a the podcast, Achieving your goals with Hal Elrod, is about living a level 10 life.
A level 10 life is a life that you are living to your fullest potential. One of the things that the podcast suggested was to make goal for a level 10 life in the following areas:
Family and friends
Personal development
God
Finances
Career
Marriage
Fun
Marriage
Home
Professional development
Health
Fitness
So I started writing overall goals in these areas the. I broke it down to yearly goals that will get me to that level 10 and for the month of October I have taken it even farther. Every week I write goals for these areas and then daily I write an action step or item I am going to do that will support my weekly goal.
This has been such a great practice for me and has helped me be super intentional with my time and resources.
For example one of my level 10 goals for family is to be a hands free mom( great book called Hands free mamma if you want tips) so my yearly goal is to be intentional with my family time in the mornings and evenings when I am not working and to break it down weekly I have set aside hands free time from 5-8 this includes not cleaning, phone, computer or any type of technology. So to break it down for my daily goal I have 10 minutes on my lunch break I look at social media, I turn my phone on airplane mode or silence from 5-8 and I do my cleaning after I put the kids to bed. This way my intentions are set for the day and I am intentional with my time. Am I perfect, no! Yesterday my intentions went out the window because I wasn’t feeling well so I laid on the couch for about an hour and played on Pinterest and was not hands free and because I wasn’t feeling well so I took NyQuil and my amazing husband took over so I could go to bed early and didn’t spend much time with my family. Everyday is not perfect or even close to it but it gives me intentional steps I am going to take to accomplish my level 10 life . I love to

continue to strive to be a better version of myself everyday. I encourage you to write out some level 10 goals that you have and some monthly even weekly steps you can take to achieve them
